Cosmetic Dentistry- Cosmetic Dentistry is a branch of Dentistry. This does not refer to a one time visit to your dentist to get your teeth looking perfect. In most cases this is just not possible. A cosmetic dentist is one who over time tries to make teeth look better threw processes such as teeth cleaning, whitening, porcelain veneers, and treatments of that nature. Cosmetic Dentistry differs from regular dentistry in the sense that regular dentistry focuses on the health of your teeth, by doing treatments such as root canals, teeth cleanings and cavity's. Cosmetic dentistry focuses on the appearance and beauty in a persons smile while at the same time making sure the teeth, gums, and bones, are healthy.

Emergency Care - In case of an emergency situation feel free to call us at the following number at any time 636-578-6877.

Preventive Care - Good dental or oral care is important to maintaining healthy teeth, gums and tongue. Oral problems include bad breathe, dry mouth, canker or cold sores, TMD, tooth decay, or thrush are all treatable with proper diagnosis and care.

Crowns - A crown is a tooth-shaped cap that is placed over the tooth. It is used to strengthen and protect your tooth structure. Most crowns are made of a hard white substance to help them look more natural.

Bridges - A dental bridge covers or "bridges" the gap between missing teeth. After you lose a tooth, your dentist may suggest that you get a bridge. A bridge is useful in keeping your other teeth from moving out of place.

Implants - Dental implants are replacement tooth roots. Implants provide a strong foundation for fixed (permanent) or removable replacement teeth that are made to match your natural teeth.

Adult and Child Patients - We accept patients of all ages. No matter what your age we are prepared to help you achieve the dental health and appearance you are looking for.

Digital X-Rays - Or also known as digital radiography imaging is a format for producing x-rays in which film used to produce conventional x-ray images is replaced with more sensitive electronics. DXRs produce images with 1/2 of the radiation, and the images are easier to store, copy and send since they are in a digital format.

Teeth Whitening - Teeth whitening is the process of using bleach or other materials to make teeth look whiter. The materials remove stains and other discoloration from the tooth surface. Teeth whitening would fall into our cosmetic dentistry category.

Dentures - The denture development process takes a few weeks and several appointments. Once your dentist determines what type of appliance is best for you the general steps are to:

  1. Make a series of impressions of your jaw and take measurements of how your jaws relate to one another and how much space is between them.
  2. Create models, wax forms, and/or plastic patterns in the exact shape and position of the denture to be made. You will "try in" this model several times and the denture will be assessed for color, shape, and fit before the final denture is cast.
  3. Cast the final denture.
  4. Adjustments will be made as necessary.
