Initial Consultation

​Thank you for choosing our office for all of your dental needs. Your initial appointment will consist of a thorough examination and discussion of potential treatment options. Depending on your dental condition, we may begin treatment that day. Please be prepared to complete all insurance and health forms.


Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your initial consultation.

  • ​Any panoramic X-Ray taken within the last six months
  • ​If you have dental insurance please bring your insurance card. This will enable us to give an estimate of your cost.

​At this appointment we can take any additional X-Rays that are needed. We welcome any questions you may have, and as such, we provide ample time to answer your questions.


Common Problems

​Endondontic treatment may be necessary if you are experiancing any of the following conditions.

  • ​Pain that lingers after eating hot or cold food - This occurs because the pulp of the tooth has been damaged due to severe decay, trauma or a large filling.
  • A sharp pain when biting down on food - Most likely this occurs because the pulp is damaged and the periodontal ligament surrounding the outside of the root may be inflamed. The tooth may be cracked or have some decay. The pain may also occure do to a crown or a large or loose fitting.
  • Pain and pressure that is severe and will not go away - The tooth may have an abscess . Your Doctor will examine the tooth, recommend a treatment to alleviate any discomfort and attempt to save the tooth.
  • Aching and pressure in the upper jaw and teeth but not severe - This may be a sinus headache. Bruxism (Teeth Grinding) may also cause this type of discomfort. You can take over the counter medications to treat a sinus headache. Call our office if the pain becomes severe.
